Hi, I’m Angela Furtado. I am originally from Brazil but have lived in the US since 1983. Until 2011, I lived in Washington, D.C., where I worked in corporate communications at a large international development organization. Since October 2011, I’ve been living in Los Angeles, California.
I travel often and take lots of photos of the places I visit. I’m always looking to capture special moments, beautiful places, interesting people, and even some odd things. I also enjoy abstract photography and intentional camera movement technique. You will find a mix of all that in this photoblog.
Thanks for visiting!

Awww… That is so nice of you, Janaline! And I have to say, I love your photos from East Asia, a part of the world still unknown to me. Thanks for your kind words and for following my little blog. Cheers, A
Two worlds that catch our attention on any blog is travel and photography! We love both too although probably not very good at the latter. We are still very amateurish but love learning and exploring others who have great skill with the camera! Look forward to following and seeing what you have to share 🙂
Thank you so much, guys, Travel and photography go vert well together and if we keep on doing it, we eventually master them. I’m not quite at the master level yet! 😉
Adorando suas fotos!!! Keep up with the good work!!! 🙂

Hi Angela, I have been nominated in a challenge to post my three favorite quotes, one each for three consecutive days.
With each post I have to nominate three bloggers for the challenge. I’m sorry, but it is not required to accept. 🙂
If you accept, you have to recognize the blogger who nominated you. 🙂
I have nominated you as I love your blog. I hope you don’t mind and hope (if accepted) you have fun with it.
Hi, Cosme. Thanks for nominating me. The challenge sounds really fun and I will give it my best shot. All the best.
Photography has been my instinctive love sine my childhood.
I had not tried much on that until I started my Blog.
I my latest Posts I have put some photos along with some poetic lines.
It is very interesting, as your about tells about it.
I welcome you to my blog, read and comment.
Hey Angela, ran through some of your pictures, loved it !!! Will keep coming back for more 🙂
Thanks for visiting and for the likes! I’ll check out your blog too. 🙂
you’ve great blog Angela!
Came here for Thurs. Doors and I discovered you have Amsterdam doors – love the first one! Have been in college for a year there, (I’m Dutch) before I moved onto continue in the Los Angeles area since the mid eighties. Now since 4 years we live in North Calif. – a pity we missed each other!
Thanks so much for the visit. And what a pity indeed! I haven’t met any fellow bloggers here in LA so far. Big city, as you well know, right?
You’re right – haven’t met any bloggers living in LA either. Maybe they’re more at the beach – no time for blogging, lol. There are some in the area of Sacramento (in a 3 hrs. radius). Wonder why I can’t remember seeing your comment on my blog -have to look again…
Hi Angela, you’ve done some great work using your 📸, I loved all the photos specially the one shot in Barcelona, Spain.
