This week’s challenge is to create a three-picture story. Here’s my interpretation:

Occupy Every Space

Back in November of 2011, while walking around the Hollywood and Highland Center–a shopping complex in Hollywood– I heard chanting that sounded like a protest. I was at the top level of the structure so, as I looked down, all I could see was a very busy scene.I continued to look down trying to figure out where the chanting was coming from and finally spotted a small but very loud group of young people. They were singing, shouting slogans, and passing out leaflets, while a couple of policemen quietly observed them.As it turned out, they were part of the Occupy Wall Street movement, which was spreading all over the US and had reached Los Angeles. The last photo zooms in on the most vocal of the protesters, a sort of leader of the group.
