I particularly like the 2nd photo from Pompeii. I love the light and shadows.
We were there in the late afternoon, during the golden hour, which made the place even more fascinating.
Ahhh – that does make a difference. We were there first thing in the morning when the gates opened. The light wasn’t quite as magical – but the place was still as fascinating.
