Weekly Photo Challenge: Inside

For this week’s Photo Challenge, I invite you “inside” the 18-foot-diameter (5.5 m) Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which takes you up 8,500 ft. to the summit of Mt. San Jacinto, in Palm Springs, California. I was there just two days ago, and here’s proof of that.

Yes, that’s our tram’s shadow down below.

That’s the final destination. You can see a tram just about to arrive there.

I loved the ride and of course took hundreds of photos on the way up and down, as well as at the top of the mountain. This is a great ride that I recommend to anyone who doesn’t have fear of heights. 🙂

  1. Nice take on the theme! 🙂 I suffer somewhat from acrophobia, but humongously from tram-phobia. Heard too many stories of their cables snapping. Not a lot, but one is too many. 🙂 Great shots, though. 🙂

As for me, this theme turned out to be much more pleasant than I initially thought and you’re surely welcome to come and find out just what I mean. 🙂
