The Broad Museum~~
Yesterday I didn’t have time to post more about the The Broad (/broʊd/ US dict: brōd), a new contemporary art museum in Downtown, Los Angeles. The museum is named after philanthropist Eli Broad, who financed the $140 million building, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, to house part of his contemporary art collection.
Nice “snapshot” of our newest museum. I really like the building itself.
It’s worth a visit!
This spring I moved from Eagle Rock to Upland. I love my new ‘hood, but going to downtown has now become a planned trip rather than a quick hop. And to think I used to work in one of those high rises. Life changes, doesn’t it?
It sure does! I live in Brentwood and while it’s not that far from downtown, I dread facing traffic on the 10…
Small world. I used to live on Church Lane. We’re homies!
Wow… We are!
I will have to take a look, next time I go to LA.
Don’t miss it! 🙂
