Thanks, Patti! It’s a technique called Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). It consists of using a slow shutter speed (1.3 to 30 max) and moving the camera while shooting. You can move it upwards, downwards, sideways, diagonally, rotate it, zig-zag it, zoom in, zoom out, or anything you feel like doing to create an abstract or painterly look. There’ll be a lot of bad shots, but you will be surprised at what can come out. There’s a lot of literature on this technique in the Internet. I’ve been doing this for quite some time, but still have a lot to learn.
Beautiful and a bit mysterious 😉
Thank you very much! That was my intention… 😊
Intriguing streaks of color, Angela. Are you sharing your secrets about how you created them?

Fascinating, Angela. I’ll read about it and give it a try! Thanks.
Careful. It’s highly addictive! 😉
