Technically it’s already Friday so, with a little delay, here are my “Thursday Doors.” As you can see, graffiti is quite a problem for some good old doors in Barcelona…

Ooooo, no to the graffiti, especially on a door like that first one!! I’d never do that. I didn’t even like to mark up my textbooks in college. 🙂

Yes, Janet that’s just sad. I remember when I shot that second door thinking here’s a pretty door that someone decided was OK to deface. Very sad…
The first one is gorgeous and that second one just makes me want to find the person who ruined that door and go to their house and do damage to something of theirs 😦
Agree with you. Such vandalism is unacceptable…
I’m a big fan of street art – when it’s been commissioned and done well. This is just rude vandalism. This is a problem that seems to exist everywhere. How sad.
I, too, enjoy good street art in the right places. But unfortunately this form of vandalism is, like you said, everywhere and very difficult to stop. In Brazil recently, the mayor of São Paulo had numerous vandalized walls painted and there was public outrage because “he was destroying art!” 🙄
Go figure!
Lovely ones you found
Thanks very much. 🙂
