Back in Milan for one day before returning to LA, we concentrated on two areas we hadn’t seen in our first visit: the Fashion District, or “Quadrilatero della Moda,” considered one of the most, if not the most important fashion district in the world; and the “Navigli,” named after the Naviglio Grande canal, an up-and-coming neighborhood with lots of small shops and restaurants. I’m sharing some photos from the area.
Left Nice this afternoon by train. Our destination was Milan, where we’ll spend one day before flying back to Los Angeles on Friday. These are iPhone shots taken from the train during the 4-hour trip that took us through several coastal towns in Italy, including Genoa.

One of my new Year’s resolutions was to have a go at a 365 project again. It was a hard but successful endeavor for me in 2015, and I felt I’d gain a lot from doing it again. So, here is the first of 365 posts. It’s a shot of the first sunset of the year, taken in Santa Monica, California.
