This week, Ben Huberman, from the Daily Post, asks us to share a photographic “Oops!” moment. Well, I have not one, but a series of shameful, cringe-worthy, crazy “Oops moments.” I call them “My Bloopers” and keep them archived to remind me to never make the same mistakes again. Enjoy! 🙂

Santa Monica

At the intersection of Wilshire and Ocean boulevards in Palisades park, a statue of Santa Monica stands on a heart-shaped patch of grass. The 18-ft. high Art Deco Sculpture was sculpted in 1934 by Eugene Morahan as a Public Works of Art project and presented to the citizens of Santa Monica by the Federal Government. The statue faces Wilshire Blvd. as if welcoming visitors to the park.

Birds Welcome You to City Hall~~

The pretty fountain in front of the Santa Monica City Hall building is a favorite of the seagulls. They are always there, bathing, drinking, goofing around. But just before sunset they ALL fly together towards the ocean. I understand most seagulls sleep on the water, so that’s them saying “bed time!”
