See asked us to show our photos where people were unaware they were being photographed. There’s nothing I enjoy more than taking candid shots. People are so much more interesting when they are just being themselves, going about their lives, no poses, no fake smiles…
I love catching those spontaneous moments when people are just being themselves and going about their business. I’ve gotten some nasty reactions when photographing strangers, so I try to do it in a non-obtrusive way or with their permission. Here is a series of candids taken in Santa Monica and Venice, California.
