For this week’s Thursday Doors, I am sharing a series of doors from Chicago’s Astor Street District, a posh historic area of the city. I love how the rather traditional doors are surrounded by beautiful planters with lovely flowers, which gives the houses a warm and inviting touch. Except for the Society of Architectural Historians, which has a pretty door but nothing about it says Welcome! 🙂 
For this week’s Thursday Doors, I decided to share some funky doors from Venice Beach, a place where doors can lead you to all kinds of things. So, think before knocking and, definitely, knock before opening… 🙂
My entry for this week’s Thursday Doors, is a photo taken in Trastevere, the 13th district of Rome, a charming medieval neighborhood located on the west bank of the Tiber, south of Vatican City.
Since I have a thing for doors, I’ve decided to join Norm’s Thursday Doors challenge. Here is my first entry, the door to the Da Vinci Museum in Venice, Italy.
This challenge made me realize that I photograph a lot of doors but not a lot of drawers. I’m sharing here several photos of doors and the only photo of a drawer I have. Although the little girl was the actual subject, the drawer is there, wide open… 🙂
