Travel Theme: Endearing

This week, Ailsa, at Where’s My Backpack, invites us to share Endearing photos. I found the ones below pretty endearing.

Travel Theme: Sky

These photos were taken in Ojai, CA, a picturesque town,¬†83 miles from Los Angeles. The¬†Ojai Valley is known for unique sunsets called “pink moments.” To capture those moments, instead of looking west at the setting sun, one should look east to see its reflection on the bluffs of the Topa Topa Mountains, which for a few moments are airbrushed a Day-Glo pink. Well, much to my disappointment, the weather turned bad when we were there, and the pink effect didn’t quite happen. Instead,¬†ominous dark clouds covered the mountains, which I found extremely¬†dramatic and absolutely awesome. Here are a couple of the photos taken that day._DSC0147
