Disconnect ~~
Rufus wants to go North. Duke wants to go South. Human, facing West, too busy to care.

Surprise ~~
At the end of a gloomy, overcast day, it finally started to drizzle in L.A. around sunset. As I ran outside to check on the “rain,” I was surprised by the sight of a huge rainbow! I quickly grabbed my camera and snapped as many pictures as I could before it was covered by clouds and gone in less than three minutes. So, while these were not the images I had planned for today’s 365 project, I feel I have to use them. Before, During, and After Sunset ~~
Santa Monica sunsets are beautiful and attract both locals and visitors daily. Just about ten minutes before sunset people start taking their spots along Palisades Park to get the best view and snap memorable photos. And the show is never disappointing. It starts with that beautiful golden light hitting the water and the sky turning all shades of pink, orange, and red, and continues way after the sun disappears into the water of behind he mountains, depending on the time of the year. It’s a spectacle that never gets old.
