Homeless With A View — Santa Monica is considered a safe haven for the LA area homeless. Members of the community keep an eye on them, regularly count them to make sure they’re all OK, and, most importantly, gladly share the city’s public spaces with them. Such is the case of Palisades Park, my favorite place to go for a walk and watch the sunset. There, homeless, residents, and tourists equally take advantage of the grounds and the beautiful views of the Pacific ocean. That’s what I hope today’s photo illustrates.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Habit
I am not a creature of habit, but there are two things I like to do regularly, even if not every day: go for long walks and take photos of everything that catches my eye. I always have my camera or at least my iPhone with me wherever I go, especially on these long walks. I thought I’d share some shots of Palisades Park, in Santa Monica, my favorite walking place.
