Spring is definitely here. Temperatures in Los Angeles have been in the 70Fs and the rain seems to be gone for now. The plants and flowers in our gardens are looking good and healthy these days. All that rain was great for them and now the sun is working its magic.
Yesterday the biggest storm in 12 years dumped some 4 to 5 inches of rain at the coast and inland valleys and between 5 and 10 inches in the mountains and foothills of Southern California. It was quite devastating here in Los Angeles and the damage in some areas is yet to be controlled. Today at our garden, the only sign of the storm were some drops of rain sitting on top of the plants. Here, an Agave Attenuata leaf adorned by drops of this morning’s rain.
